मंदिर के बारे में
Banke Bihari is the most visited shrine in Vrindavan. The deity wears the unique Panji — a heavy curtain of flowers and cloth that is opened and closed repeatedly during darshan, giving the devotee fleeting glimpses of the Lord rather than a long steady darshan.
The original shrine was raised in 1864 by Swami Gokulananda, after a vision of the Banke Bihari vigraha.
