The Ram Janmabhoomi temple stands in Ayodhya at the place that tradition honours as the birthplace of Ram, the prince of the Ramayana. Built in the Nagara style, the temple has quickly become a major centre of pilgrimage in northern India. Devotees come to behold the child form of Ram, Ramlalla, enshrined in the sanctum.
The present temple was consecrated in 2024 on the site traditionally held to be Ram's birthplace.
