मंदिर के बारे में
The Dwarkadhish temple honours Krishna as Dwarkadhish, the lord of the ancient sea-kingdom of Dwarka in western Gujarat. It is one of the Char Dham pilgrimage seats and a centre of Krishna devotion. A great flag is raised over its spire several times a day, each hoisting a renewed act of worship.
Tradition traces the shrine to Krishna's great-grandson; the present soaring temple dates largely to the 15th–16th centuries.
