मंदिर के बारे में
The shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi lies within a natural cave in the Trikuta mountains, where the Goddess is worshipped as three sacred rock forms, the pindis. Pilgrims climb a long trail from Katra, often through the night, calling on the Mother as they ascend. It is one of the most visited goddess shrines in northern India.
An ancient cave shrine whose worship long predates written record; pilgrim facilities have grown steadily over the modern era.
