Ghatasthapana has to be done inside a short window on the first morning, which is the worst possible time to discover the barley seed is missing. The pot, the soil, the seed and the covering are packed together, with the nine days of offerings sorted into nine marked pouches so nothing is decided in a hurry.

We do not print a muhurta on this page, because the window is city-specific — our panchang gives yours. Fresh mango leaves are perishable, so dispatch is timed to the festival rather than to your order date.
