The Yoga: 2nd Lord's Transfer to the 11th House

The 2nd house governs stored wealth, assets, and the mouth (speech, nourishment, intake); its lord commands the flow of income and what you accumulate. When this lord occupies the 11th house (gains, friendships, aspirations, and elder siblings), it creates a natural Dhana Yoga—a confluence of wealth-generating forces. The 11th house is where income materializes; it rules profits, social capital, networks, and the fulfillment of desires through collective or long-term endeavors. A 2nd lord here does not merely earn; it compounds earnings into wealth. According to Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra (BPHS Ch.27, vv.37–40), planets in the 11th house gain strength and dignity, particularly when they are naturally benefic or exalted. The 2nd lord in the 11th thus operates at optimal power, ensuring that every rupee earned finds its way into sustainable wealth.
