Sade Sati's Final Phase for Kumbha Rashi: Saturn's Transit Through the Second House

For Kumbha (Aquarius) Moon natives, 2026 falls in the final (third, setting) phase of Sade Sati — the seven and a half year Saturn cycle that the classical texts call Shani Ki Sadesati. Sade Sati begins when Saturn enters the twelfth sign from the natal Moon, peaks when Saturn transits the Moon sign itself, and concludes when Saturn exits the second sign from the Moon. For Kumbha Moon, Saturn is now traversing Meena Rashi, the second sign from Kumbha, where it remains from March 29, 2025 until June 3, 2027. From the Moon, this is Dhana Bhava — the house of accumulated wealth, family, speech, food, and the right eye. The classical texts including Laghu Parashari describe the second from the Moon as the seat of Kutumba (the family unit) and Vaakya Siddhi — the power of speech and promise. Saturn's transit here subjects all these themes to rigorous purification, and as the closing phase of Sade Sati, it carries the consolidating quality of karmic completion rather than the sharpest test. Saturn rules Kumbha Rashi, so its lord is the very planet conducting the transit, an arrangement the shastras treat with particular care. Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra identifies this configuration as Shani Swamsha Vedha — self-confrontation at the deepest level. Kumbha Moon natives who have consciously engaged in Sadhana during the earlier Saturn-in-Kumbha periods will find 2026 considerably more manageable than those who resisted those lessons, as the heaviest pressure now lifts.
