नक्षत्र (Nakshatra)

आकाश-पथ के 27 चंद्र-खंड, जिनसे जन्म और समय-संबंधी ज्योतिषीय गणना की जाती है।

जन्म नक्षत्र चंद्रमा की जन्म स्थिति से निकलता है। इसका उपयोग दशा, नाम-अक्षर, मुहूर्त और मिलान में किया जाता है।
