Pooja Samagri · Vrat
One box for the whole katha, from the chowki to the sinni.
A Satyanarayan katha takes an afternoon, and most of that afternoon is supposed to be spent on the katha. It rarely is. Somebody is out looking for banana leaves, somebody else is arguing about how much sooji the sinni needs. This box carries the dry part of the whole rite — the chowki and its cloth, the kalash, the panchamrit, the supari and coins for the sankalp, the sinni ingredients, and an English booklet you can actually read aloud. Milk, curd and the fruit you buy fresh, that morning, near your home. Everything else arrives packed in the order you will need it.
Choose the date of your katha. We dispatch to arrive two days early.

Milk, curd and fresh fruit are not in the box — they spoil in transit and you buy them fresh that morning. The katha booklet is an English retelling written for a household to read aloud, not a scriptural edition.
Tulsi and banana leaves are fresh-packed and dispatched to reach you two days before your date. If they arrive in poor condition, send one photo and we replace them or refund that part of the order — no return needed.

A family keeping the vrat on a purnima, at a new home, or after a wedding, engagement, exam result or job — any occasion the household wants to mark with thanks rather than with a request.

No. Families keep this vrat at home without a priest, and the booklet is written for a household to read aloud. If you want a priest, the option above introduces you to one near you and we take nothing for that.
Milk, curd, fresh fruit, and the flowers you prefer. These spoil in transit, so we would rather you buy them fresh that morning than receive them tired.
Most families keep it on a Purnima. It is also kept on Ekadashi, and after a milestone at any time of year. Our panchang page shows the Purnima dates for your city.
No. The sinni ingredients are raw — sooji, sugar and a dry-fruit mix. You cook it as part of the rite. There is no packaged prasad in this box.
Yes. The chowki, cloth and brass kalash are meant to be kept and used again. Only the consumables run out.
Then this box is the wrong buy and we would rather tell you. The individual items are in our store at their own prices, and the daily box at ₹399 covers the consumables alone.
