Amritsar, Punjab · Sikh shrine
The holiest gurdwara of Sikhism, its gilded sanctum rising from the centre of a sacred pool open to all faiths.

Mind · peace
The continuous Gurbani and open langar make Harmandir Sahib a refuge for a restless, grieving or unsettled mind.
Darshan, seva and donations here are carried out on the temple’s own official website. We point you straight to it — no account needed — and the offering goes directly to the shrine.
Harmandir Sahib, the Golden Temple, sits in the middle of the Amrit Sarovar, the pool of nectar that gives Amritsar its name. Its four doors face the four directions as a sign that it welcomes people of every background. The continuous recitation of the Guru Granth Sahib and the free langar kitchen express the Sikh ideals of devotion and equal service.
The sacred pool was completed in 1577 and the central shrine in 1604, when Guru Arjan installed the Adi Granth within it.
The shrine is dedicated to Sikh shrine, and devotees come from across the country for darshan in the inner sanctum. What follows is the heart of what each pilgrim seeks here.
Can’t travel? A named priest at Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib) performs the puja in your name, taking your gotra and sankalp before the deity. You receive a video confirmation of the ritual, and the prasad is delivered to your home.
Support the temple and its work directly. Each contribution is facilitated transparently, with a receipt and an impact update — and an 80G tax receipt on donations of ₹500 or more.
Chadawa offerings can be made from ₹251 to ₹11,000.
Book a live darshan or puja, or make an offering — directly on the temple’s official website. No account needed; your seva reaches the shrine itself.
