ग्रह दृष्टि (Graha Drishti)

ग्रह की भावों पर पड़ने वाली ज्योतिषीय दृष्टि; मंगल, गुरु और शनि की विशेष दृष्टियाँ भी मानी जाती हैं।

ग्रह दृष्टि किसी भाव या ग्रह पर प्रभाव का एक संकेत है। इसे राशि, स्वामित्व और अन्य संबंधों से अलग करके नहीं पढ़ना चाहिए।

How are aspects calculated in Vedic astrology?

In Vedic astrology, aspects are house-based, not degree-based. Every planet aspects the 7th house from its position (full aspect). Mars additionally aspects the 4th and 8th houses from its position. Jupiter additionally aspects the 5th and 9th houses. Saturn additionally aspects the 3rd and 10th houses. Planets within those houses receive the full effect of the aspect regardless of the exact degree difference.

Is the Sun–Moon opposition (Full Moon) an aspect in Vedic astrology?

Yes. The full Moon (Purnima) occurs when the Sun and Moon are in opposite signs — the Moon aspects the Sun via its 7th-house aspect.
