उपचय (Upachaya)

तीसरा, छठा, दसवाँ और ग्यारहवाँ भाव—जहाँ समय और प्रयास से विकास के संकेत पढ़े जाते हैं।

उपचय भावों को बढ़ने वाले क्षेत्र माना जाता है। यहाँ ग्रहों का फल उम्र, प्रयास और पूरी कुंडली के संदर्भ में बदल सकता है।
