अंतर्दशा (Antardasha)

महादशा के भीतर चलने वाला छोटा ग्रह-काल, जो उस बड़े काल के अनुभवों को सूक्ष्म बनाता है।

अंतर्दशा महादशा के नौ उप-कालों में से एक होती है। इसका फल महादशा-स्वामी और अंतर्दशा-स्वामी दोनों की स्थिति से देखा जाता है।

What is Antardasha in Vedic astrology?

Antardasha (also called Bhukti) is the sub-period within a Mahadasha in the Vimshottari Dasha system. While a Mahadasha lasts 6–20 years and gives the dominant planetary theme, the Antardasha sub-divides this into 9 shorter sub-periods — each lasting from a few months to 3+ years. The Antardasha planet's nature and its relationship to the Mahadasha lord determines the quality of each sub-period. For example, during Jupiter Mahadasha, a Mercury Antardasha would activate Mercury's themes (communication, business, intellect) within Jupiter's broader context of growth and wisdom.
