In Jaimini's system the seven grahas from the Sun to Saturn are ranked by how far each has travelled through its sign, whatever the sign. The highest becomes the Atmakaraka, the soul's significator. The rest become the chara, or movable, karakas of career, siblings, mother, children, kin and spouse.
Jaimini calls the Atmakaraka the king among the grahas: the others follow it as ministers follow a king. Its sign in the navamsa, the Karakamsha, is read for the soul's purpose and for the form of the divine the native is drawn to worship.
BPHS also presents a scheme of eight karakas that includes Rahu, counted backwards through its sign, and adds the Pitrikaraka for the father. This page lists the karakas exactly as received for your chart.

It is the graha with the highest degree in its sign in your birth chart. Jaimini reads it as the significator of the soul: its desires, its lessons and its path toward liberation.
It is the graha with the second-highest degree. It serves the Atmakaraka as a minister serves a king, and it is read for career, work and the counsel you give and receive.
It is the graha with the lowest degree among the seven. It is read for the spouse, for marriage and for close partnerships.
The minutes and seconds decide. In the rare case that those are equal too, the classical texts give rules to break the tie, and an astrologer reading your full chart applies them.
Most grahas move slowly, so their order holds across a day. The Moon moves about a degree every two hours, so an exact time keeps its place right, and the Karakamsha needs the time as well.
