An auspicious date and time-window for entering a new home, derived from the panchang (tithi, vaara, nakshatra) and the family's birth charts. A classical Greha-Pravesh happens during the Abhijit Muhurat on a shubh tithi.

Can Greha-Pravesh be done on any day?

No. It is forbidden on Amavasya, Purnima, Tuesday, Saturday during Rahu Kaal, and during Chaturmas. It is recommended on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, in the bright half of the lunar month (Shukla Paksha).
