Krishnamurti Paddhati is the system Prof. K. S. Krishnamurti built within Vedic astrology. It uses its own ayanamsa and bhava cusps, and divides each nakshatra into nine unequal sub-parts in the proportion of the Vimshottari dasha years.
The lord of the sub-part a graha or cusp falls in is its sub-lord. In KP, the sub-lord of a bhava cusp shows whether the matters of that bhava come to pass.

The twelve cusps are cast for your birthplace.
Each graha and cusp is placed in its nakshatra and sub.
The seven ruling grahas are read for the moment of birth.
