Short answers about the houses, rin and the 41-day practice.
Lal Kitab, the red book, is a Jyotish tradition set down in five Urdu volumes between 1939 and 1952. It reads the nine grahas through twelve fixed houses and answers with simple upay for daily life.
Parashari Jyotish turns the houses with your ascendant and reads signs, lords and dashas. In Lal Kitab the houses stay fixed, and its own rules for pakka ghar, sleeping grahas and rin shape the reading.
Each graha has a fixed home house: the Sun the first, Jupiter the second, Mars the third and eighth, the Moon the fourth, Ketu the sixth, Venus and Mercury the seventh, Saturn the eighth and Rahu the twelfth. A graha at home gives its own result most clearly.
Rin is a karmic debt carried in the family line, such as Pitru rin to the ancestors. Lal Kitab reads it from where certain grahas sit, and answers it with seva the whole family shares.
No. The example is a sample chart, so every card is filled in. Read your chart to open your own board. A detail your reading does not include is left out, never guessed.
Lal Kitab upay are kept without a break. This practice keeps one small act each day for 41 days. If a day is missed, the count begins again from day one, and your past practice stays in your history.
