Bajrang Baan
About this Chalisa
Bajrang Baan (literally "the arrow of Bajrangi") is attributed to Tulsidas and consists of 33 chaupais. Unlike the Hanuman Chalisa — a gentle daily prayer — Bajrang Baan is a powerful, urgent invocation of Hanuman's protection, traditionally recited in times of fear, illness, possession, or acute distress. Some traditions recommend reciting it with strict discipline and ideally under the guidance of a teacher.
