Lakshmi Chalisa
About this Chalisa
The Lakshmi Chalisa praises Maa Lakshmi — goddess of wealth, fortune, beauty, and prosperity — and her consort Vishnu. The forty chaupais describe her four arms, lotus throne, golden complexion, and her role as the divine mother who bestows both material and spiritual abundance. It is especially recited on Fridays and during Diwali.
