Rudrabhishek

• Rudrabhishek invokes Lord Shiva's blessings for health, peace of mind and the removal of obstacles.
• Many families arrange it during periods of Saturn (Shani) or Rahu that an astrologer marks as hard, to rest under Shiva's protection.
• Shiva is Ashutosh, quickly pleased by devotion, and the abhishek is offered to receive his grace.

• Mondays, Pradosh (the 13th lunar day of each fortnight) and Maha Shivratri.
• The month of Shravan is especially popular.

• Maha Shivratri, 6 March 2027
